Storm Fire was born out of a storm.

During the pandemic, our founder was running an events company, Storm Events. While virtual events filled the days, something was missing — the joy of creating something tangible, something real.

In 2020, with the world standing still, he picked up a welder for the very first time. From sparks and steel, the very first Shepherds Picnic Hut took shape — a hand-crafted, open-sided hut designed to bring people together, outdoors, safely and comfortably.

 

That first hut became a talking point among friends and family. Its charm, practicality, and the feeling it created — of warmth, togetherness, and a touch of magic — sparked something bigger.

Soon after, a skilled welder and a talented woodworker joined the journey, and what began as a lockdown experiment evolved into Storm Fire Limited.

Today, Storm Fire continues to blend craft, design, and imagination — creating unique products for the home and leisure industry. At the heart of it all remains our flagship creation: the Shepherds Picnic Hut — a space to gather, share, and make memories.
